Dermatology Essentials for Medical Assistants is a four-hour course that teaches
the basics of dermatology for medical staff.
Starting with basic terminology, then moving through clinic flow and procedures,
each student will earn a certificate upon successful completion.
This certificate meets Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services E-Prescribing
requirements for medical assistants.
This course has two components: Course Content and Final Exam. The Course
Content must be completed first and in sequential order as presented. There are
quizzes at the end of each section that must be passed with 80% or better score
before moving on. A quiz may be attempted multiple times to pass, if necessary.
The Final Exam is a cumulative exam based on the entire course content. A
score of 80% or better must be achieved to earn the certificate. The final exam
may be attempted multiple times to pass, as well.
The certificate can be downloaded and printed as a PDF file by the learner. It will
have the learner’s name and a unique identifier number.
Single or multiple licenses may be purchased for a dermatology practice. Single learners may be signed up through the Single Learner link on the home page. Multiple licenses may be purchased by contacting us at the link below or emailing us at hello@dermcert.com. Purchase of multiple licenses must be used within
six months from date of purchase. We enroll your learners, who will then receive
an email with a link to the course.
Tracking of user progress and course completion may be requested via email.
The cost structure is $98 per employee. Purchase of 50 licenses or more is offered for a combined price of $75 per employee. Licenses purchased in bulk must be used within six months from date of purchase.
Course must be completed within six months of purchase. Certificates are valid
for one year from date of course completion. Certificates are property of the
purchaser, which is not always the same as the enrolled learner.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Refunds will be given for those purchased courses where the learner has not yet started the course. Courses that have been started are not eligible for refunds.
Cancellations can be offered for a learner's course at request of the purchaser.
